For us, 2024 was defined by innovation, growth, and key partnerships. We proudly reflect on twelve highlights that shaped our journey over the past twelve months. Each month brought new achievements and exciting developments, underscoring our passion for precision and our close collaboration with customers and partners.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are eager to share the results of our hard work and continue shaping the future of air sampling together.
In January, our most important innovation project reached a decisive milestone. After extensive customer feedback and rigorous testing, a new prototype was born. This paves the way for the launch of a groundbreaking instrument in 2025 – designed to inspire with pioneering innovation.
After years of growth, it was time for more space: in February, we moved into our expanded office space one floor above our previous office. The new offices not only offer an impressive view of the Alps and Lake Zurich, but also plenty of space for creativity and a direct, uncomplicated exchange of ideas. From here, we develop innovative solutions with full energy and are always at your service.
March saw the start of our trade fair season with the GMP PharmaCongress in Wiesbaden. We are prepared for a total of twelve exciting events this year, featuring informative presentations, live demos, and new monitoring instruments – all driven by our passion for engaging with you.
Another important development project reached a highlight in April: the first official test instrument of our latest monitoring instrument was produced. It expands our portfolio with a solution in the field of passive monitoring and marks a significant step in our innovation strategy. The new instrument has already been presented at selected trade fairs and customers over the past few months. After being fine-tuned, this significant innovation will officially launch in January 2025 – another milestone we eagerly anticipate celebrating with you.
New Application Notes are available! They cover key topics such as isokinetic air sampling, the influence of design on collection efficiency and the use of Growth Direct cassettes with our MAS-100 instruments. Our publications are designed to support you in further optimizing your processes. We will continue to offer you practical solutions in 2025.
A milestone highlight also in June: MBV takes over the distribution of the brand new Rapid-C+ air microbial particle counter from Plair SA in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After years of collaboration, we are proud to be the exclusive distributor of this innovative real-time detector. The official sales launch is imminent.
July spotlighted HORST, an important roboter in our production when it comes to ensuring data integrity and complete traceability of our MAS-100 instruments. It automates the loading and unloading of the laser unit. In July, we produced an exciting insight into our automated production with HORST together with fruitcore.
Our employees make the difference - and we show it! All 40 team members were photographed in a new photo shoot. These dedicated people are the heart of our company. The pictures can be found on our website and show who is behind our solutions every day.
Our ISO 17025-certified calibration laboratory received a second measuring station in September. The conversion work went smoothly and we can now calibrate your instruments even faster.
October brought the introduction of our new CRM system, designed to enhance customer relationship management. With faster response times and optimized lead tracking, we've already seen initial success, leaving manual processes behind.
In November, we celebrated two highlights with our long-standing distribution partner Merck KGaA: the inspiring exchange at a two-day workshop at our headquarters in Stäfa and Merck's successful launch of the new Safe Lid for MAS-100 NT. We greatly appreciate this trusting partnership and look forward to many more successes together.
As the year draws to a close, final preparations are underway for the launch of our first online training course on independent calibration. This marks the start of the MBV Academy, which will offer digital learning opportunities during the course of 2025.
