For more than 30 years, we’ve been developing air samplers to measure microbial air contamination. We research, produce and maintain high-quality, innovative products, whilst our ambition for the optimal solution has made us the global market leader.
The core of our success goes by the name MAS-100® – launched in 1996 and continuously developed ever since. Our headquarters are located in Stäfa, Zurich, with all instruments being produced and assembled by Femron in Feuerthalen, Schaffhausen.
Our instruments are used around the world for controlling areas in which microorganisms can have a negative impact on product quality, for instance in the pharma, cosmetics and food industries, in scientific research and in the manufacture of medical devices.
Whether stationary or portable, our instruments will allow you to enjoy the level of protection you require. And we’re only satisfied once we’ve exceeded your expectations. We believe in collaboration, trust, and self-confidence. Because as we see it, perfection is human.

BEST OF 2023
2023 was a successful, exciting and sometimes challenging year for MBV. Once again, we were able to implement and launch a lot with and for our customers, partners and employees. For example, a new industrial robot now lasers all types of perforated lids, and a unique marking of the lids supports our customers with quality management. Moreover, our customers could be relaxed about the entry into force of EU GMP Annex 1 and, for example, watch our new "Quick tip" videos on YouTube or book an online meeting with our experts directly via our website.

Strategic partnership with Plair
Innovation through collaboration, that's what we stand for here at MBV. The partnership with Plair has great potential to bring together new and innovative automated solutions for microbiological monitoring to the market, combining the technology of both companies.
Plair is a start-up company, a spin-off from the University of Geneva, specializing in the early detection and identification of airborne particles in outdoor environments based on its state-of-the-art laser technology. This technological leadership allows Plair to extend its applications to real-time monitoring of viable particles in controlled indoor environments such as clean rooms.

We are privileged to live and work in a safe and reliable country. Many of our customers receive support, sometimes indirectly, from the public sector. We therefore see it as our duty to give something back to the community in addition to our direct task of providing our customers with products and services of the highest quality.
